IHP route planner – How do we do it?
1. Contact & Consultation interview
The first contact takes place by mail to collect your first personal data in order to record your request. Your abilities, wishes and goals will also be discussed in a consultation via video call in order to select your professional field of application. After a detailed inspection and examination of all necessary documents, your personal documents, certificates etc. in translated and certified form, a recommendation can be made in which area you could be employed in Germany.
2. contract
If you subsequently decide to pursue a career in Germany, an applicant or employment contract will be concluded, depending on your professional orientation. To this end, we work together with renowned clinics, health care facilities as well as outpatient services. In addition, a timetable is also established for how the next steps are to be defined and secure long-term employment contracts for you through our extensive network.
3. language integration
Language is the basic prerequisite for successful treatment of patients and for professional exchange with colleagues. Depending on the level of language proficiency, at least level B2 must already be reached in the country of origin within the framework of a language course. We arrange appropriate language courses in order to create the basis for working in Germany. Similarly, doctors take part in an intensive practical course to prepare them for the special language examination.
4. Integration
Healthcare professionals are introduced to the structures and processes of work organisation in the healthcare sector in order to find their way quickly and easily through everyday working life in Germany. In addition, we explain in detail the legal and constitutional foundations of the German health care system as well as the foundations of social integration.
5. Adjustment method & visa applications
In order to apply for a permanent residence permit for the purpose of taking up a professional activity, the relevant documents and application forms are submitted to the embassy and it is examined whether the applicant has to undergo an adaptation procedure. We support the demand-oriented adaptation qualification and help to acquire the missing qualifications, which were determined in the course of a formal examination, afterwards (e.g. in the form of an internship in Germany or in the country of origin). After examination of the documents, the Embassy issues a residence permit linked to the existing employment contract, provided all requirements are met and foreign qualifications and diplomas are recognised.
6. Career start in Germany
Stranger and yet at home! New people, customs and traditions. We provide assistance in all important life situations (registration office, health insurance registration etc.), accompany you to your new job and support you with a successful start in Germany. For this purpose, an integration manager will be provided to support you.
